Approximate Purchase Date: End of July / Early August
Budget Range: $350-375
System Usage from Most to Least Important: Fruityloops (music editing), downloading and watching movies, burning dvds, surfing the internet)
Parts Not Required: mouse, monitor, speakers
Preferred Website(s) for Parts: newegg.com
Country: USA
Parts Preferences: No Preference
Overclocking: Yes
SLI or Crossfire: No
Monitor Resolution: 1600x1200+
Additional Comments: It's for my brother who is turning 30. He doesn't play games but does want to start learning how to produce "beats," watch "hd porn," burn "pirated dvds," and make "spreadsheets." Literally, that is what he texted me saying he wants it to do. It is very low budget build so I am requesting the advice of this collective expert community on how to maximize the dollar for the build he wants. He will need an OS but nothing else software related. And I'm perfectly okay with with a safe overclock. He is not tech savvy but lives a few minutes away. I would prefer avoiding calls from him asking for help with anything after I complete the build and give it to him.
Thank you much
Sincerely,
Justin S
