3930k vs 5930k

I've got a trusty 3930k clocked out at 4.5, are there any advantages to upgrading to a 5930k or even a 5820k?

Right now for gpu I'm using a 780ti and will most definitely be upgrading to a 980ti.

My thinking is I won't find enough differences between the 3930k and the 5930k to justify the additional expense. What do you think?

You're also upgrading the platform to an updated X99 with Native PCI EXPRESS 3.0...

You will notice a difference however the upgrade price is high...

If you are doing things OTHER THAN gaming, you could notice a difference. Media encoding, rendering, workstation type things ... YES. Gaming probably not.

Most simulators... ie P3D, Project Cars, etc.

I suggest you get the 5960x if you have the budget permits, get a good cooler and try to OC it to 4.4 or 4.5

The 5960x might be a little bit overkill for your purposes however it will last longer.

I did play the game however I didn't do much testing.
