Print in 2 pieces, however....

Print A, then B, then put A in at the appropriate moment

Trex composite decking requires specific spacing. End to end butt, or next to something else.
Expansion for heat/cold.

BLUE = 3/16" + 1/4" + 1/2"
RED = 1/8" + 1/4" + 1/2"

30 mins design, 2 hrs print, $0.40 material cost.
I could have put all 4 thicknesses in one model, but didn't think of it until after.

If you are replacing older wood decking with composite decking, make sure you install one or more diagonal braces under the floor joists.
Wood decking creates great longitudinal stability. Moving side to side.
Composite does not. Because it is semi floating for expansion.

Yeah, I've been looking in to that.

The joist structure underneath is pretty solid, so any diagonals may not be needed. We'll see once I take all the existing wood off.

Does the stone/marble look come from one filament with the speckling or some combination of white and black filaments?

And you can control the amount of speckling: lighter <----->darker....

The speckling is within that one filament. It is specifically called "marble white stone"

There's a zillion different filaments.
Color and material.

I just got in a 'wood' filament, that is supposedly enough wood as to be able to take a stain, like real wood.

Done in black silk PLA.

In 4 pieces, yes, there is a visible seam. I may redo it a little better.

Add a ruler to the photograph for scale. Model appears to be around 3" x 6" per the background 2" x X"'s.

And what happens if you fly Cyclops around with that hanging below?

Good guess.
6.5" x 3.25"

Not hollow, but I could make it so.
it is 216g. Cyclops would struggle to leave the ground, if at all.

If I make another (more hollow), I'll get the coloring and detail a bit closer.
Along with a loop to hang it from.

With the slicer programs for the printer, you can designate the infill density, and therefore the total weight (amount of filament used).
Anywhere from 1% basically hollow, to 100% absolute solid block.

That AI thing was laughingly, disturbingly, bad.

I've been thinking of a subscription there, but I'm not paying if it just gives me better definition crap.

None of my text inputs there have given anything even a little bit printable.
Mini Cooper, Rodin sculpture, explosives...all junk.
