3dmark and hd2900xt

I recently bought an HIS HD2900XT video card and ever since I can't get any of the 3dmark programs to load anymore. They all worked fine with my 1900xtx, anyone got any ideas? It locks up right at the first 3dmark screen.

I have done a complete format and reinstall of winxp pro sp2 and have catalyst 7.7 drivers in. Whaddya think???

Do games run fine? no choppiness studerring frame rates? if no and 3dmark is the only thing that doesnt work who cares... 3dmark05 is a lousy game anyway!

Try to put this file in windows/system32/futuremark/MSC

That did the trick! why isn't it already there? By the way I can get very very close to 20000 on 3dmark 05 and almost 12000 on 06! Just had to cure my curiosity about this card. Thanks.

My 3dmark 06 would always stop responding, was yours doing this too vinman???
