3GB GTX 660ti or MSI 2GB Powered edition GTX 660ti?

Hi I don't know if I should get the MSI GTX 660ti powered edition which is a 2GB card overclocked to a Core Clock of 1019MHz and Boost Clock of 1097MHz or should I get the Galaxy GTX 660ti 3GB edition with a Core Clock of 1006MHz and a Boost Clock of 1084MHz? They are a difference of $10. And what advantage would a 3GB card give me over a 2GB card in terms of gaming?

I prefer MSI. Excellent manufacturer and I never had a problem with them before. Galaxy is good too. Both are wins.

I'm the opposite. I dislike MSI and if you can get the 3gig card for 10 bucks more I would do it. who knows, that extra gig might come in handy in the future if you run really huge monitor resolutions or run multiple monitors.

I'd avoid the MSI 660ti and the MSI 670 due to the above issue. The funny thing is I already have that link saved on my clipboard after pointing it out to several others in the last hour lol.

GTX 660 TI 3GB if you have a multi monitor set-up and maybe if you game on it. Otherwise 2GB will also do on a multi monitor setup but you never know when the extra 1GB VRAM might come in handy. No harm getting the 3GB over the 2GB

I JUST purchased the 3gb 660ti about 2 days ago and I can promise you that you will not be unsatisfied.. I haven't found a game that gives this card a run for its money, if you can name it , i can Ultra it.. Battlefield 3, Hitman Absolution, Borderlands 2, Dishonored, League of Legends, Guild Wars 2... all of these Ultra with awesome FPS..

The 3GB shouldn't matter much considering the 192-bit memory bus bandwidth of the 660Ti chipset can barely even take advantage of 2GB, let alone 3.

Overall MSi's Twin Frozr is a very good cooling system and has very good customer support, I'd reccomend the Twin Frozr because good clocks are better than an extra gig of memory that probably can't even be utilized efficiently.

i JUST finished playing it and I got good FPS BUT my monitor is a very bad resolution (looking to get one soon but im broke) its a 1280x768 monitor i believe but i have also played on my 1080p TV and it played Battlefield 3 online perfectly, sorry no Far Cry 3 yet
