[SOLVED] 3rd Monitor keeps flickering off and on.

Hi Guys,

Since a month or 2 i have encounterd problems with my 3rd monitor.
While gaming, or having Netflix, YouTube or even Excel files open, the left (3rd) monitor keeps flickering on and off, on and off.
I can still drag programs or browsers on the screen while it goes dark, so it's not disconnecting from my computer.

Sometimes once every 15 seconds, other times 8 times in a row continuously.
It often goes straight to black, but sometimes i also see White Noise Pixels before it goes dark.

The light on the monitor stays white (which means enabled), and no pop up with No Signal or whatever show up.
I have tried different HDMI cable, sent the monitor back to where i bought it for repair, but still the same problem.

Do you guys have any idea on how to fix this, i can barely use my monitor.

Thanks!

EDIT: By the way, hooked it up to my new graphics card, problem still occurs.
I have the latest drivers, everything, and other screens have no problem.

Solution
It was connected to HDMI now, also set refresh rate to 60 after factory reset and powerunplug, and currently no problems i think.

I have three of the same monitors, problem only happens on my HDMI connected monitor, since i have 3 DP's now, i will try to check if this fixes it.

swap powerbricks between the problem monitor and one of the 2 that work fine. If it's the powerbrick, those can be easily bought separately on amazon for a few bucks.
If you change resolution and/or refresh rate on affected monitor does it change behavior?
If you disconnect one of the other monitors does it still flicker?
Put a game on flickering monitor and use Windows Game Bar to record it (about 1 min is enough). Then open the video file on good monitor - does the flickering is visible in video or not?

Btw you mention you sent monitor for repair. What was the response? Did they found any problem and 'fixed' it, or they claimed no problems found?

They literally didnt mention anything, just fixed it and returned it without telling me what has been fixed.

I've ran dual monitors including this one before, and still had the same problem.
I have just now checked, and when put on 1920x1080 i get a FULL WHITE NOISE Screen for a couple seconds...
It's even completely dark now, without any message on it about no signal or whatever...

Since i now have a RTX 3080 (since this morning) that supports 3 DP's, i will order a cable, and see if this will work on full resolution and refresh rate. right?

It is actually fairly common issue, esp with LG monitors. It's typically caused by faulty monitor powerbrick. Some less that stellar dealers will just hook up such monitors to their universal power brick, it will work without a hitch, send it back as being OK and same problem persists

what's exact model and make of that monitor?

So it was connected with other type of cable then the other two? Then definitely going with 3 DP cables would be first thing to do.
