4 monitor help

I am looking into setting up 4 monitors on my desktop mainly for work purposes. I do game a little, but a 24" is more than enough for me, my main need comes from my job, which causes me to have to tab between Photoshop, 3 different web browsers, Programmer's Notepad, SCP/FTP programs, Email/instant messenger, MS Office, and other various programs.

My graphics card is an EVGA GTX 560, which is currently running 2 monitors. If I were to buy a 2nd 560 (or upgrade to a 580 for the gaming monitor and run 2 others off the 560), would it be as simple as plugging it into the mobo and hooking up the 3rd and 4th monitors? Below are my system specs, though I am sure my system can handle it.

My mobo can run 2 pci-e 2.0 x16 cards (3 at x16, x8, x8), and my PSU is overpowered for what I have right now. So my concern is less about can my system handle it, and more with the actual logistics. Do I need another video with the same chipset as mine, or different? Are there any bios settings or steps I need to take to run 2 gpus? And should I feel the need would expanding to 6 monitors be the same as going from 2 to 4?

you can add a second card. It doesnt need to be anything fancy, a very very low end nvidia card will work just fine. If you want a gaming boost get a second 560Ti and use SLI while gaming on one monitor. it will he much cheaper than getting a 580 to use for gaming and a large performance boost

If I SLI won't I have to disable that every time I want to switch back to using multiple monitors? Its more important to me to be able to run 4 monitors at all times then to be able to have a performance boost. So just plugging in a 2nd gpu should do the trick for me?
