It's a 20+4 connector; it's supposed to come off. Whether or not it's a good idea to use this PSU depends on what the PSU is and what you're powering.

Eww. That's a really cheaply made, group-regulated PSU. Hopefully you're powering a very light machine with it (office PC or a basic gaming PC that has a GPU that doesn't require supplementary power).

what do u mean by snap back together like i just put both of them in the thing or i need to connect the 4 pins back to the rest of the pins cuz im trying but when i try to put both of them inside it feels like im about to break it

im trying to push in the pins into place and then put the 4 pins inside the motjherboard after but it wont fully go in and my fingers hurt

Double check the plug orientation.

There are different shapes and if you do not look carefully you may be trying to fit the proverbial square peg into a round hole.

The individual pins are "keyed". Some are square, others have bevelled edges, hence the use of the term "round". The keying is intended to stop people from inserting the connector the wrong way round.

Insert the 20-way and the 4-way plugs on the end of the PSU cable into the motherboard simultaneously and heave down with enough force until they are pressed all the way home.

It can take a surprising amount of force to get them fully mated.
