Hi, i'm planning on building a gaming PC build for Christmas, I already have the monitor, OS, mouse and keyboard, I just need the PC itself. Would it be better to buy a $400 PC and upgrade the parts later on or to buy a PS4 for $300?
The final price should be under $400 without mail-in rebate.

Is this build better than the one on the video?

The Intel G3258 is a great choice, and definitely more powerful than the Athlon 760k. Based on that alone, yes. Otherwise they're more or less the same build.
