Question 4090 not showing display, Fans spinning and Lights up.

Hi There, hoping someone can help please.

I just purchased a 4090 Founders edition to replace my dated 2070 Super, when I plug this into my motherboard (using the supplied power cables with my PSU) The "GEFORCE RTX" led lights up and the fans spin, however I have "no signal" displayed on both my monitors, connected through display port.

These monitors work fine using the same cables with my 2070 super.
I had originally thought that the PSU was the issue, as I was using a Corsair 850W PSU but have since purchased and installed a Corsair RM1200x SHIFT and I am having the same issues.

I've flashed my BIOS to the latest version and I believe I have manually downloaded the 4090 Drivers from NVIDIA's website.

Please please please help :(

Is all your cables pluged into adaptor correctly to fit in all 3 sockets on the adaptor because my 4080 would not even display but turned on and would not display until there enough power going into it!. But i bought power unit that has the same socket as the new GPU so dont have to worry about the adaptor thing

Yep, I am using the Corsair Type 5 connector for it (one cable into GPU on one end and then two into PSU from the same cable) also tried with the default nvidia gpu connector (one cable into gpu, split into 4 with their own power cable from psu

Nope, how do I do that?

1st you download https://www.guru3d.com/files-details/display-driver-uninstaller-download.html
2nd you boot in safe mode
3rd you go to ddu and do clean and shutdown ready for new GPU

Omgggg it’s working now, thank you so much! I had assumed windows would install some sort of generic driver to boot the 4090 before GeForce experience updated it with the correct drivers??

Hey.
Have you tried another PCI-E slot?
Also, I assume you can't even see the BIOS. right? It's not just no-signal in windows?
Was the 4090 used or new?
I had only tried the top PCI-E slot on the motherboard, as I had heard the bottom one wasn’t as good? Or if you mean the power port on the PSU I had tried a bunch unfortunately
