Question 4090 Silicone lottery?

Well my main question was really about the GPU
you think its performing within boundaries?
Should I push the memclock on MSI afterburner to try to get it to run better?

Some people said I should do a clean install on the GPU after I Swapped from 4080 to 4090, even with the geforce experience driver with the latest update
also I only have two power cables plugged into it, well 3 because the second one is daisy chained
having 3 different plugs in wouldnt let me boot my pc ;(
I first did a 1 - 1 - 1 did not boot and only my ram lit up
then I tried 1 - 1 - 0 (unplugged) then my AIO + Ram lit up
then I tried 1 - 1 +1 - 0 and it booted up normally...
maybe its not getting enough power from the psu?

That literally performs worse than my 4070Ti in that test, lol. Definitely not normal. Did you reinstall your drivers? That's one thing I did when upgrading from my 3070Ti to the 4070Ti. Also, if you use Afterburner, reinstall that as well. I had no issues after the upgrade at all (outside USB claiming that 73rd percentile is somehow "performing below potential"...). Not sure why you upgraded frombthe 4080 to the 4090, though xD
