450w enough for Core i3-530?

Building a core i3-530, using integrated graphics and 2 dvd drives. Will a 450w power supply be enough? I don't plan on adding a graphics card.

Corsair CMPSU-450VX
Gigabyte GA-H55M-UD2H
4gb ram

That will be more then enough to run your system. If you do move to a dedicated graphics card you might need bigger depending on the brand of the PSU.

With that psu you can go quad core with a decent graphics card if you wanted.

In other words it'll last you a while on your setup.

Without knowing the brand of power supply he is useing i would not tell them that. It could be one of those $20 cheapo power supplies and could end up blowing up on them if you over load it so without knowing the brand they are using i would not say that with certainty.

The I5-530, Mild OC is about 100 W SO ENJOY

A i5-750 w/5770 is just at 300 W
