So, I just finished my first build a couple days ago and decided to start fiddling with overclocking today (for the first time ever, so I'm a noob at this yet).

After spending a few hours messing with stuff I was able to get 4.6ghz with vcore @ 1.211, ran RealBench for 10 minutes at this setting but was getting my avg temp around 79c and spiking to 80c.

So I decided to turn it down to 4.5ghz with vcore @ 1.172. After a 15 minute RealBench the avg temp was around 74c, dropping down to 69c and a spike to 77c.

I haven't had time yet to try a lower voltage, it may go down a little bit, or time to run a multi hour long stress test to check for complete stability.

However, are those temperatures (69c low, 74avg, and 77spike) considered low enough for most people with a daily overclock?
