I need new monitor, need help with deciding

usage: home
playing World of Tanks
watching movies in windowed mode while playing Minecraft
3dsMax when i need to finish work at home
Photoshop when i edit my own photos

What i want
4k monitor with 27+inches (personally 24 is jsut to small for 4k for me)

I used to have
Dell 2001FP IPS monitor with 4:3 (1600:1200)

What i stumbled upon:
40inch Philips BDM4065UC which costs 840 dollars here

Budget
Roughly 850 dollars (1000 if it would be amazing choice)

But isnt the TN panel bad for color depiction ? I use IPS panel and the colors on TN panels look horrible to me, at least those usual 22inch screen.
Alsso i heard that Freesync is not as good as G-Sync

Yeah, TN is bad if you look at the colours. There aren't many 4K monitors with an IPS panel out yet, so you should wait some time.

What i stumbled upon are these 2, i can get them for exactly the same price about $650:
Dell P2715Q - is Dell IPS
Philips BDM4065UC - is 40inch VA

I cant really decide, the VA has better black colors but its PWM (good PWM but still PWM). The Dell is much smaller but it has much better stand. But i could use the 40inch in VESA stand.

The problem with TVs seems to be the input lag. The 40inch Philips is much better choice now. I actually might like the black colors more but still not convinced about the PWM 🙁 Also the text ghosting is very bad on 4k TVs

So ive been long deciding, the 1440 segment is not just for me, it doesnt offer much for me at 27inch screen

I found 3 monitors that i like:
Acer XB321HK - has G-Sync
Dell UP3216Q - nice design, probably the best colors?
BenQ BL3201PT - praised by many people

The prices for me are the same almost (where i live its the same).

The problem is now, is G-Sync going to help me on 4k with games or should i go for the Dell with the Dell quality of products?
