For a gaming pc capable of 4k

LG: 40UB800T

Monitor
Samsung: U28590D

apparently they cost the same price in my country about $699.

oh yeah forgot that the LG is a frikin IPS

The 8000 series seems to have a bit of bad reviews for whatever reason, but the 8500 series has better reviews, although the cheapest they have is like $1.1k at 49 inches or something. But this depends on what kind of things/games you are going to play and if you would mind a 1-2 lag in "some" fast action moments of the games. I personally like TVs over monitors because it just has much better picture quality and I do like to have a very clear and beautiful picture. Also, I like the UHD upscaling for movies if you want to use it to watch movies. So it all depends on what you need.

I spoke with a Samsung rep today. model # UN40JU7500FXZA. That is a Samsung 240 MHz tv that is 4k with a quad core chip on the tv, and apparently a curved screen. The good Samsung model's are about to be released. Get the "TV".

I'm poor, my budget is less tha $800

Get the Acer XB280HK monitor. It's at the limit of your price range but it's 2x better than anything else you'll get. Why? Gsync.

I had the original samsung 4k monitor, and I also tried a 4k T.V. as well. Had lots of issues. the gsync monitor fixed it.

Good luck.
