Is Ryzen 5 3600 so good as people say? What motherboard I can pair it with? My Ram is 3200Mhz Ddr4 cl16
Maybe Gigabyte B450M S2H or MSI B450 PRO-M2 V2 ?
As cheap as possible, wont be overlocking, game I play is fortnite

All the motherboards listed in this thread so far will require a BIOS update before you can install and use the Ryzen 5 3600.
Ask at local PC shops and see if they will update the BIOS for you for a small fee.
If you are confident that your local PC shop will be able to do that, then you can buy pretty much any B450 you want to run the Ryzen 5 3600.

That motherboard has a BIOS Flash Button on the IO panel so you can update the BIOS from a USB stick formated to FAT32 without having a CPU installed.

But overall, will its much worse for Fortnite to get i5 8400 instead of R5 3600? Gpu 2070S. I know that Ryzen might be better, but it’s setup costs more and i dont want to suffer updating bios and etc im so new at that

Get a decent B450 motherboard in case you are going to upgrade to 8 core or above CPU in the future. Those B450's mentioned in OP has poor VRM, very hot for 6 core part and very bad and unmanageable for 8 core and above.

I would suggest the MSI boards like Tomahawk and Carbon which would be worth the investment but if you don't want to OC or upgrade in the future get the cheapest B450.

The i5-8400 will give you pretty similar gaming performance to a stock Ryzen 5 2600.
So you could get a B450 motherboard with a Ryzen 5 2600 and then in a year or two upgrade to a Ryzen 5 3600 or even a Ryzen 7 3700x.

thanks for your opinions men! First i wasn't even thinking of ryzen, but people on tomshardware's forum changed my mind. However I don't know anything about OC, Ryzen and I will be honest I'm not so good at this topic so I decided to go with Intel. Now i don't know what's better: i5 9400/i5 9500+2070Super or i7 9700+2060Super for Fortnite fps. I'm on 1080 g-sync 240hz monitor. All setting low.

Motherboard: Gigabyte B360M DV2
PSU: Corsair TX650M 650W Gold+
Ram: HyperX Fury DDR4, 2x8GB, 2666MHz, CL16
Case: Corsair Spec Delta
HDD: Western Digital 1tb - 7200 RPM SATA 6Gb/s 64MB Cache 3.5 Inch - WD10EZEX
SSD: Samsung 850evo 250gb

If you want to go with Intel the least i would least recommend to go for 9600K with 2070 Super if possible but if you are budget constrained then go with i5 9400+2070 Super with cheapest MOBO to support it.
