5 second beeps

please can anyone help!!!!!!
when i turn my computer on it beeps for around 5 secs then stops and repeets all the time!! not sure wat to do? nothing loads up, just beeps all the time!! your help would be very much appreciated!!!! cheers all!

Motherboard manufacturers have beep codes to tell you there's something wrong that's causing it not to POST (Boot (Start up))

What motherboard brand/model do you have?

Then I can give you a link to the mobo's beep code page, or just look and tell you myself what is wrong
