I will be purchasing either tomorrow or the day after that. This is the last thing I'm confused on. Just would like it clarified before I place the order for the parts. The GPU is slightly overclocked. I'm a complete noob when it comes to overclocking, so I'm not exactly sure if it would require a higher rated PSU as it might take more energy? I would like to get a 500w PSU since it's cheaper, but I don't want to stress it out and put it on max load either. What should I do?

Thanks in advance.

Sweet :)

Although I'm starting to think I should just hold off for the GTX 660.

I just have that bad luck where literally as soon as I buy the GTX 560 a week later the 660 will come flying off the shelves...

Officially Nvidia recommends a 550 watt power supply for a gaming pc with one GTX 560 video card. Both Nvidia and AMD are very conservative with their recommendations. Both companies normally recommend a higher wattage than necessary. They do that on purpose because they know some consumers will buy cheap psu's of questionable quality and performance. Luckily you are considering a Corsair psu. Overall Corsair has a very good reputation for quality power supplies that perform well.

BTW - Gamers have a tendency to think they need a lot more power than they actually do.
