will a 533 pentium 3 slot-1 chip that has a FSB speed of 133mhz run on a motherboard(Intel 440BX board) that supports only up to a FSB of 100mhz?

Yes, but if you only run it at 100mhz the CPU will be at 400mhz. You would need to overclock to 133FSB on the BX.
