Hello, some months ago Agesa gave support for Ryzen 5000 on 320 motherboards, so i flashed to the newest bios and ordered the 5600G as an upgrade from Ryzen 2000.

https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/A320M-GRENADE/support

it clearly states it supports it, but now after installing it my computer is in an eternal loop straight into bios.
at first boot it detected the cpu etc, now it just shows msi boot logo and straight into bios.
i reset bios to defaults several times and forced integrated graphics but no change.
it seems like they claim it supports a list of ryzen 5000 cpus but still doesnt work in practice!
what can i do?

yes, after a while just to be sure i took the battery out, shorted the pins.
next boot it showed all the settings etc like it did the first boot around, then it went into bios loop again.
it also shows my drives in bios.

does this help?

there is a boot menu, but i cant see a way to reboot into secure mode or whatever.
after a little bit of googling it seems several cant boot with 320 boards, especially msi for some reason. but i cant find a solution.
yup, no uefi bootable drive, boot mode select change from uefi to something else (usualy to legacy)

:giggle:
that is odd, boot option for anything else than uefi was grayed out, but i found a different menu and changed to CMS, now all of the sudden it works.
why did it work with uefi on 2400g or why did it change when i changed the cpu?
thanks!
