5750 or 5770

My current gaming pc is getting a bit long in the tooth.

My gaming box was running:

Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit
AMD Athlon X2 5400+ Dual-Core
EVGA 8800GT
Apevia WIN-500XSPX 500 W Power Supply (30 - 34 A on 2 12V Rails)

My monitor is 19.5 inches with a max res of 1360 x 768.

I mostly play MMORPGs and I've been pleased with my results with Batman AA and NBA2K10.

My 8800 died last week and I'm looking for a new GPU.

Given my modest specs, could this system handle a 5750 or 5770? Would I need a CPU and/or a PSU upgrade as well? Assuming I can find one, which would you guys recommend?

5750 would be plenty for that resolution. It performs on level with HD4850

Get what you can get. The 5750 is nice, the 5770 performs a bit better for a little more. What else is there to say?
