I recently bought some upgrades for my PC, one of which is the sapphire 5770 vapor-x. Basically the steps i took were uninstalling my ati drivers from my old 4670 card. Turned off the pc and took out the 4670. Installed the 5770 and when i turn the PC on all i see is a "no signal" and i can't hear windows startup sounds. I can see the 5770's fan spinning and the blue light is on. The 6 pin connector is plugged in, i tried the 6 pin on my psu and the 6 pin provided in the box. After going threw about 50+ threads about this issue i just can't seem to pinpoint the issue.

I have tried a few remedies like unplugging the monitor and plugging it back in. I tried starting the PC with my onboard video while the 5770 was installed. A thread i found said something about upgrading your bios but i found gigabytes page kind of confusing. I have rev 2 FF, which is fairly up to date for the motherboard. Threads seem to hint that older motherboards need to be updated for these 2.1 cards, but i can't figure out how or where. My PSU seems ok for the requirements and buying a much more expensive one is not really an option atm. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.
