Hi, I recently reinstalled windows and installed bf3 and for a week i could get 60-ish average frames on bf3 with most things on high settings. However now the performance seems to be dropping to 19 sometimes even on low.
My specs are:
i7-860
2 Crossfired 5870's
8gb of ram
I also just installed the 11.10 preview drivers, but still i can exactly pinpoint the problem. Please help.
EDIT: i apologise if this has been posted on the wrong section.
EDIT: Think it has been solved. Drivers with crossfire a bf3 are really twitchy and the right ones need to be installed.

The thing that really confuses me is that it ran fine when i first installed it. Had crossfire on and everything on high. No AA defered. But now im lucky to even get 30.

then take it step for step. Disable HT test it.

I've tried finding the HT setting in my BIOS but i couldn't, could you explain how to disable it for a newbie like me. My mobo is ga-p55a-ud6 if that helps.

yeah, just nix the crossfire, you should be able to run high to med-high on that card with one. I heard you really only get 20% more power with a crossfire set-up, couple that with the finicky support for it with bf3 and well...you know the rest...
