Hi,

Geforce FX 5900XT = 5900SE?

In VGA Charts 3 the clock of 5900XT is wrong (300MHz) right? All 5900 cards have 8 pipelines?

Thanx

I believe your correct. The chart is wrong. 5900XT has 400mhz clock speed just like the normal 5900 non ultra only the memory is slower going from 850mhz on the non ultra to 700mhz on the XT. As far as piplines go I maybe wrong but I'm pretty sure all the 5900 cards as well as the 5950 cards all have a 4x2 pipline design and not a 8x1 although essentially both equal 8 in total.
5900XT is the name Nvidia has given this type of card where as SE is eVGA's specific name for it's version of the 5900XT just like the Leadtek's 5900 LX is Leadtek's version of the XT.

eVGA isn't the only one making the 5900XT. As I mentioned Leadtek has one too. Infact Leadtek's 5900 LX, its version of the XT, has been around where I am at least one month before eVGA's SE card was even available. Others also make XT cards including Gainward, XFX, and Albatron. I'm sure theres others as well that I'm not aware of.

It means nothing. All video cards use integrated memory. The only exception to this is motherboards with integrated video on them which instead of using there own memory for video it uses your system's memory because it dosn't have any integrated memory.
