[SOLVED] 5K Limit Build Please Help

Hello dear members,

After 3 years since my ryzen 2700x build its time for a new one. I saved some money to realize a new high end build.

I'm kinda a corsair fan boy so here is my build i wanna go for.

Case: Corsair Icue 5000T RGB
PSU: Corsair RM1000X
CPU: Ryzen 5950X or Intel 12900K ?
GPU: Gigabyte 3080TI Master or 6900X -> Or MSI 3080TI supreme
Motherboard: Aorus Ultra AM4 or MSI MEG x570S
CPU Cooling: Corsair Icue H150i Elite LCD Display
Storage: Samsung Evo 980Pro 2tb
Memory: Corsair vengeance LP 32GB DDR4 3600
Corsair PSU Sleeve cables white.
Corsair LL120 RGB 7x

Monitor is gonna be a MSI optix MPG 34 inch MPG341CQR

Total cost are 4500 euro atm.

What do you guys think? Any changes needed?

A 3080ti is a waste of money, vs a 3080 12gb. You have the budget, go with at least 64gb ram.

Better yet why would someone recommend 64GB of RAM and a heat producing power hog 12900K for a gaming build.

You have a decent build and I wouldn't change anything other than the cpu and board. The 12700K / 12700KF is not only less expensive but it beats the 5950X in pretty much everything including gaming not to mention Intel builds seem to be more stable as in less issues.

And the TI is 277 Euro more expensive, than the 3080 12gb. That money would be better spent on ram, or more SSD storage. The TI is a card that should have never been produced, but Nvidia likes to flood the market, with multiple models, whether it makes sense, or not.
