Maybe a build based off that then?

Hey would it be ok if I replaced the i3 listed with this
http://us.ncix.com/products/?sku=72279&vpn=BX80637I53470&manufacture=Intel&promoid=1366

The best gaming processor for a build in this price range is usually the AMD FX 6300
The only reason not to build using one is if you play older games like Starcraft and Skyrim that cant multithread well .
Everywhere else the FX matches the best i3 at stock speeds , but can then be overclocked to get performance close to that of a 2500K

AMD FX 6300 $140
Asrock970 Extreme3 $70
Radeon 7850 $170
2 x4 gig of DDR3 RAM 1600MHz/ 1.5 volts $ 38

why not a 965BE and OC that bitch 😉

If you can afford an i5 and a strong graphics card then go with the i5

but th money you save by getting the FX 6300 can often mean you can afford a stronger graphics card .

Heres a review of the FX
http://www.techspot.com/review/586-amd-fx-8350-fx-6300/
Gaming its always within the margin of error with the i3 , and everywhere else it demolishes it .
But once you start overclocking the FX 6300 you can get game performance almost as good as an intel 2500K

Is over clocking something hard to do ? or is it noob friendly :??:
