Will do! Should be arriving Tuesday, thanks for sticking with me, I believe it'll be good. Does the motherboard that comes with the PC and the memory suck bad? Didn't find any info on that..

Motherboard & Memory - I don't know if they suck - what make and model are they?
Did you goodgle the model number + reviews (of you system and the make and model of mobo and memory if third party vendors)?
I have a Dell going on its 5th year with nary a problem. Many people complain about the quality of Dell's and all store bought systems. They usually don't have the high quality people select when building their own systems but they also don't have the higher component prices. You get what you pay for.
With store bought systems you rely on brand and warranty. Gateway has a reasonable reputation and I earlier owned one and was very happy with it. There is no reason that I know of that you should not expect at least a good three years of life - aside from technological obsolence and the desire for faster machine as games require more.
Speaking of which, how is WoW running?
BTW - When purchasing a system, I recommend always going to the manufacturer's site and downloading all the information you can (web pages or pdf or other as available) including manuals, specifications, compatible cpu and memory lists, and drivers. They have a tendency to cycle and update model numbers as they make minor upgrades and modifications which might make it difficult if later you are looking for info - such as possible cpu or memory upgrades. Also note that some model numbers are hard to find as they sometimes make special model numbers for specific large vendors.

WoW is running very smoothly @ 1680x1050 (100 fps or more) but that is not in dalaran or other crowded cities.
