I will be building a new rig in the near future and I'm planning on using the athalon 64 chip on the ATI radeon RX480 chipset.

does anyone have any good links to information regarding the 64 bit processors? Also I dont think I want to to use windows 64 with the new rig, does anyone have a link
"Linux 64 for Noobs" or something along those lines?
I havent used linux at all.

I suggets mandrake as a pretty good intoduction to linux just to sort of get the feel for it and ease yourself into it.
If you want a crash course in linux download and install gentoo. It takes a few days to install and you will know quite a bit by the time you are done. There is an installation handbook on the gentoo website that gives step by step instructions. If you follow them you are guarenteed a successful install.

You can download those and other distros at LinuxIS😵rg
