Hi, i recent change my hardware from a 3570k to fm2 platform
The reason is cos in my country there's difficult to achieve itx platform for intel, and for AMD i just get an a88xn wifi... i need an itx because of the space
The problem is that i don't know if my actual 6800k can handle de r9 290 vapor that i have
I used to play bf4 in ultra settings but now it laks...
How can i OC my 6800k to stablish a good performance with my r9 290?
I also have a ripjaws z 2400mhz
wich vcore should i use?

Solution
That's a real bummer. The i5 3570K is so much better with the r9 290, no bottlenecking. Where as the A10 6800K will put a lot of bottleneck on that r9 290, idk if a high overclock will even fix that.

Search for an Amd or APU overclocking guide, they're everywhere.

As for vcore, every chip is different, so i can't tell you.

What country do you live in? And why do you need mini itx?

Thanks for your answers, i live in argentina, a lot of hardware dont even pass by this country... i like itx, i had the oportunity of watercool a bitfenix prodigy with a 3570k... and i dont know why... sold it! So... now that i cant get a haswell, i try to do the job with this fkn apu... wrong i guess!
I will try to OC the 6800k and see how it works, i guess it's nothing in comparison with my old 3570k... even at stock speeds!
I will try to get a haswell as soon as possible with mini itx platform... but until then i have to handle it with only high presets in game, not ultra 🙁

Yeah bummer.

However, the good news is that you can probably get your 6800K (with good cooling) to 5Ghz. I've seen one guy who was able to get his to 5Ghz and that amazed me.
