6950 + 6970 in crossfire

Hello,
i just crossfired my 6950 with 6970 and uninstalled catalyst andrun driver sweeper and installed catalyst 11.8 everything is good for now the crossfire worked but the problem is when i open gpu z i find that my 6950 chedk with directcompute 5.0 but the 6970 is not what is the problem please help me

It's just GPU-Z not showing it correctly. Nothing to worry about.

its not a bug when i start directcompute benchmark it says only one gpu have supported directcompute

Is it possible that the bench doesn't support Xfire?
Maybe reinstall the one driver, if no help try reing both.
What are your clocks set at?
Is the 6970 in primary slot(top)?
Is your OS up to date?

the bench does support multi gpu and the 6950 is on the primary and the os is up to date should i install the 6970 in primary and install the drivers then reboot and install the 6950 ? or should it work while putting them both and installing the drivers becuase i tried to reinstall the drivers many times and using driver sweeper and there no luck to get directcompute on the 6970

Try uning card drivers, shut down put 6970 in top slot and boot with just that card.
See if GPU-Z DC 5 checked, if it is shut down put 6950 in secondary slot & boot. If OS installs driver for 2nd card automatically and it's ok good if not insall driver manually.
Hopefully it'll work!

put th 6970 in primary and did everything you told me now the 6970 have directcomput checked and the 6950 is unchecked i dont know what to do mabe becuase the motherboard becuase i have ga-ep45t-usb3 and im going to upgrade to ga-x58a-ud7 and i7 maybe it well fix the problem one question is the core 2 quad bottleneck the 6950 and 6970 in crossfire ?
