6990 + 6970 Trifire, BF3 anyone?

I think I've narrowed down my choices for my new builds video cards. This is my last unknown.

Any body have a set of 6990 + 6970 Trifire, playing bf3?

How about eyefinty with 3 monitors at 1920 x 1080 rez.

Cant go wrong with that tri-fire setup, it utterly destorys SLI GTX 580's ($1000) for cheaper.

But is it working on bf3 with trifire? My entire build so far, $1300 is all for one thing, to play that game with 3 monitors....
