72 gpu heat is it bad?

My msi gets to that temp on watch dogs high setting 1440x900 is it bad its gtx 770 gaming oc card also it's not performing as i expected 40-60 fps on high 1440x900 rly -_- i saw some vids on ultra 1920x1080p on 40-60 fps why i cant get 60+fps on ultra with 1440x900

It's normal that the GPU gets hot at high usage, if you're worried about the temperature, raise the fan speed. But there's nothing to worry about.

Watchdogs is a very CPU bound game aswell, what's your CPU and how much memory do you have?

Also, Nvidia released a driver to increase performance in Watch Dogs, try to update to the latest driver!

I remember another MSi card having throttling issues due to bad card BIOS. Or maybe it could be some driver problems, after all Watch Dogs is a new game...

Updated! The cpu is i5 3350p and 8 ram 1600mhz kingston

That CPU should run Watch Dogs at 60 fps. There's plenty of fast memory too!

The problem lies on the GPU, like I said, update to the latest drivers and report back.

Well it runs it to 80 sometimes but only in closed areas on the streets its 40fps

Yes, that's pretty much new release stuff here, unoptimized drivers and the game itself. Be patient, in a couple of weeks the stability should improve, if it doesn't, THEN come back.
