Hello everyone, I ve got a Be quite! PurePower 730W 80+bronze PSU, and I would like to know if it's gonna work with 2 Gigabyte G1 970 in SLI, thanks in advance
My specs:
Cpu: i5-4690K OC to 4.5Ghz
Cpu cooler: CM hyper 412s
Ram:8gb
MB:z87-pro
2 intake 2 exhaust fan

System in IDLE = 123 Watts
System Wattage with GPU in FULL Stress = 439 Watts
Difference (GPU load) = 316 Watts
Add average IDLE wattage ~10 Watts
Subjective obtained GPU power consumption = ~ 326 Watts
So under full load in 1329mhz it's gonna use 439 watts? And if I were to overclock it to 1500mhz?

I'm running an Enermax 730W PSU and my new SLI rig (using 2x Gigabyte GTX 970 G1 Gaming cards) will crash and reboot after about 1 minute of playing a game. PSU is brand new, so its performance has not degraded due to age. Anywho, the fact that the computer shuts off completely makes me think that it is a PSU problem. If not in a game the system works fine. Ugh...not a great way to enter the world of SLI...
