I am building a casual gaming/editing PC. The highest demanding game I will play will probably be CS:GO. As for editing, a little photoshop and Sony Vegas. Overall, I want it to be a good-for-everything computer. As of now on the build I have a 960, which falls nicely in my $750 budget but leaves me out of a SSD.

I know you're not suppose to cut costs on a GPU but why should I get one that I wont even use to its full potential. I think a superclocked 750 ti is still too much, but cheaper and is good enough of a card that can support advanced games if I for some reason decide to play them one day.

I want to fit in the SSD because Ive gotten a lot of recommendation to get it.

This is what I have so far

That WD Green is slower than the blue and the Blue is like the same price. You could go with a cheaper mb, as I did on this $600 build:http://pcpartpicker.com/p/p39dZL
Find cheaper stuff that still works until you have some spare money. And also be careful with the whole rebate thing because you need the big amount before rebates are added to actually buy it then you can redeem the rebates.

Do you have any reason for using a z97 board? The 750 ti should be enough for CS:GO, but the 950 is also a good choice, also, if you can get a better PSU get it by any means, also avoid the green drives if you can.

Thermaltake a good PSU? 500W

I feel like a lot of people on here are gaming enthusiasts, so i get recommended to go for the more higher end GPU. Even if i were to play fallout 4 someday in the future a 550 ti can do the trick for that. I think im leaning toward cards that are way too powerful for what i intend to use them for. At the end its just whatever I REALLY need that I want to buy. Not sure where to stand on the matter of buying a certain one.

Here is a true editing build then.
