Question 75hz or 144hz

Hey everyone, I need some help choosing a monitor. I'm stuck between two 1080p monitors and i'm not sure which to pounce on. I play a lot of FPS' (Apex, Overwatch, Destiny 2) and the occasional RPG. PC Specs:

Ryzen 5 1400 (planning to upgrade to Zen 2 when it comes out)

GTX 1070

16GB RAM

Is there a noticeable difference between the two refresh rates?

Yes. The 75hz can effectively only display 75 fps at once. The 144hz can go to 144 fps provided you have the graphics card and CPU to push that kind of frame rate.

Since you will be upgrading to zen 2, I would go with the 144hz for sure. A say 5ghz zen 2 with the 1070 should be a good pairing for that setup.
