7700K heat problems

Recently bought a 7700K and put a 212 evo cooler on it and i got idle temps 40's and load temps (example playing Rainbow Six Siege) 75-80. Although The cooler isn't what you'd call optimal is it really the coolers fault? i mean these temps are really high. (note: i live in Greece the ambient temp in the room is the same as outside around 30-35)

As your room temp is 30-35'C and You have 7700K which is known for good overheating and what are you getting is okay unless the CPU cooler is not mounted properly

The Hyper 212 is a "Good CPU for the money" ... with the emphasis on the last 3 words. A $90 air cooler will do 9 - 10C cooler.... a $110 CLC will do 6 -7 C better. A $37 (€40) Scythe Mugen Max or $40 (€48.) Scyther Fuma will give you the same temps

Funny enough the scythe fuma max(45 Euro) is cheaper than the scythe fuma(55 Euro), I really dont care about sound and all that but performance, what cooler would you reccomend and why? also should i be concered for the 7700K hitting 80?

75-80°C is pretty normal specially if your ambient temps are 30-35°. Is your cpu thermal throttling or shutting down? it should not as that cpu can go over 100°C whitout shutting down i think it reaches 100 and thermal throttles if temps keep coming up it will shut down to prevent damage.

80°C + is a bit on the warm side but is not a cpu running hot (talking about i7 7700k specifically), so you do not need to worry about it, you can probably lower temps by undervolting a bit the cpu keeping it at the same speed or upgrading the cpu coooler to something like the noctua NH D14/D15 or watercooling on a 240mm or bigger radiator.
