785GT-UD3H with crossfire

i am thinking of down grading from a GA MA 790X UD4P to a 785GT-UD3H because of budget

just a few questions
what socket is the 785GT-UD3H
what type of crossfire does it run x16 x16,x16 x8,x8 x8

any other 770/780 chipset boards are possible to any suggestions are very welcome
note i can only get gigabyte and asus but i head that asus AMD boards arent so good.

thats an upgrade , the 790x is a ddr2 board (1) 16x and (1) 8x pci-express
( AM3 only the 785gt is a ddr3 board (2) 16x pci-express)
Almost the same price.

ERROR, ERROR, sorry looked up board real quick from link and saw two blue pci-e slots
as the blue slot from gigabyte is full 16x looked good, then went to newegg and saw same thing and listed as (2) 16x slots
NOT TRUE wrong picture and data at newegg (unusual) then went to gigabyte and they displayed a different board with one blue and one orange. The orange slot is always a reduced lane and in the case of the 785GT it is a by four or 16x with four lanes not eight and definitly not 16.
