Hi there
I've got myself into a cable management pickle.
I have an EVGA Supernova GS 550 power supply and it comes with a CPU cable that is a 2x4pin.
unfortunately i cannot get it through the hole in my case to get it to the cpu cleanly. It would need an 4 pin extender/adapter to get it through the slightly smaller hole.
Is using a 2x4pin to 4 pin adapter safe?
Could i file down the slightly fatter part of the cables cpu plug to fit it in that damn hole? Is it worth buying a new cable straight from bitfenix or another reputable pc company?
