my adapter is RTL8812BU. I tried uninstalling it, i even uninstalled windows and it still doesnt work. when i switch to ac, it connects for 10 seconds, and then proceeds to disconnect. my router supports it, and i dont have problems on my other devices. when i use a/n i get a really unstable ping. when i try switching to a/n/ac device manager crashes and i become unable to close it.I then get DRIVER_STATE_POWER_FAILURE. drivers make the situation even worse.
album.

Ok, then it must be in working order.

Did you install excact same driver for it on both machines?

Does it make any difference if that wifi adapter is the only usb device connected to the computer?
I opened the adapter, and it turns out that you were correct: the antennas arent connected properly.turns out my laptop supports 5ghz, sorry about that. However I bought a new adapter (a6150 from netgear), but i now get "cant connect to this network". 2.4ghz connects perfectly ( if we ignore the 200 ms ping to 192.168.1.1). Should i open a new thread, or is it part of the same problem?
