8700k Undervolt Safe Numbers?

Hello

Not so long ago I bought myself a new PC with an i7 8700k.
And the voltage was way too high for my taste, so I lowered it by 0.130 through Intel XTU, so that I could just uninstall the software if it wasn't stable.

Now that I've been running it for 30 days~
I decided to go into BIOS and change it so that I won't have to launch the software everytime I start my PC.

So I want to ask if what I've done is correct: Core voltage Auto -> Offset -> -(minus) -> 0.125
When running OCCT, VCORE goes up to 1.280.
Is that fine?

Another thing is that, when checking HWMonitor, it says that my VID goes all the way up to 1.4V
Is that bad?
And what is VID?

The VID is the default voltage for your chip. The recommended by intel.

So, I've run with these settings today, and all of a sudden my PC hardfroze during a game of League of Legends.
So it wasn't stable, just weird how it was unstable during LoL, but not OCCT.

Guess I'm back on XTU, unless some of you could enlighten me with a solution?

Another question; IF I'm unable to make a stable undervolt with BIOS, is it a 'safe' solution to keep using XTU for the undervolt?
