Well you see the Bruins and the Leafs just respect that their fans too much to taunt them and get their hopes up only to dash them like the Bolts. That way the fans can book their tee times earlier and start preping for next season.

my bad, this couple of years has been so ugly that i just want to start something. besides, there is no way toronto can be considered hockey TOWN. its the center of the universe, hockey wise.
 
OHHHH Canada... brings back some great memories. I was living in Victoria BC in 1998, with a sweet thing, at the bar, watching the winter Olympics. The Canadian team was playing for the medal round. The Place was crowded, I was yelling like a good yank should (drawing a fair amount of attention) They noticed, but since it was for the Canadian team it was better than all good. They lost 🙁 ... within 2 minutes the crowded bar was empty...ahhh Canada I love it
 
LoL! As I recall the leafs havent won the cup since there was only 6 leagues in the NHL 😛 I can't understand why toronto insists on cheering for such a bad team. The only thing worse than cheering for the leafs in the canucks (cansucks) since they will give you hope and shatter it into a million sharp shards straight into the heart.

Admit it, alberta has the best hockey, this province is second to none in most cups since 1980-present.

Thats just me, wasnt a hockey fan until the phenomina of the 2004 playoff series when the red mile formed and the subsequent flamesgirls.com flourished.

Sigh, city passed a new law for the red mile this year, you cant honk, spit, yell, or drink outside. Way to go mayor, you just ruined the best part of being a Calgarian. Ape will likely have something to say along those lines, this is if he's a flames fan.
 
I support the local team, but I'm first and foremost a Bruins fan, but grew up in T.O. so I was one of those who kept feeding Ballard's wallet the Ba$$turd!!

Yeah I can't believe the city killed the golden goose of the redmile (and yes Flamesgirls.com was great), but then again this city's downtown is dead and full of people who don't leave their houses and big screen TVs for weekday entertainment, outside Stephen Avenue 6pm and downtown is dead. :roll:

The only think I don't like about the rejuvination of the Flames often fairweather fanbase is that it's harder for me to get good tickets cheap whereas before the playoffs in 2004 (which I saw many games [Vancouver series was best IMO]) I was able to get lower bowl 5th rows on game day at the ticket window. 8O

One thing I'll say about Toronto fan, he'll come out even if the team sucks, not so much for any other team, including Montreal, most will lose interest after 2-3 losing seasons. You may think that's nuts, but being a Bruin, Red Sox, and Denver Broncos fan I know the long droughts of no results, considering the Broncos and Red Sox luck, I think maybe my Bruins are due. 8) Oh and I'm also an Eskies fan, which drives all my co-workers nuts on Labour day. :twisted:
 
It is too bad that all the rich folk had to spew into the downtown area. One of the downsides to having such an affluent core is that they have the money to get new bylaws made. I guess the days of mayor bronco having vancouver's mayor pave one of our roads in a flames jersey are over. Really, the red mile wasnt that great last year, and yes, the red mile's size is directly proportional to how well we do in the playoffs, next year we'll liekly get knocked out in 5 games, then 4, then we wont even make it. SIGH!

So i'm getting a gtx once my mobo comes in, if anyone wants to offer any advice against this i'll provide the resolution i'll be playing at: 1680x1050.

And heres some more With the resolution cranked up to 1600 x 1200 the tables were turned and the ATI Radeon HD 2900 XT was able to take the lead over the more expensive GeForce 8800 GTX by less than two frames per second. Keep in mind our previous comments back in the image quality section about the use of a filter though!

I have the eVGA NVIDIA 8800 GTS- 320MB. I have had it for 2 months now. I can play all of my games in 1280X1024 just fine. No video jerking or stuttering. Battlefield 2 and Sniper Elite work excellent with the GTS 320. I am planning to add another GTS 320 card on my motherboard next year and turn them into SLI connection. Waiting for the GTS 320 price to come down a little more from $299.00.

I have not bought any ATI card since the ATI All-In-Wonder 8 MB AGP 2X with the Rage Pro Chip. Therefore, I do not know much about the current ATI cards.

ROTFLMAO besides APE you will not find a bigger ATI fanboy clown other than jaydeejohn :lol:

Most every single Benchmark at there at 1600X1200 with 4XAA And 16XAF shows the 8800GTX beating the sh1t out of the 2900XT. The only times the 2900XT is close is when its using no AA or AF but who the heck buys a high end card to run no AA and AF :roll:


Turn on the AA and AF and the 2900XT falls behind very quickly as the benchies always show.

BTW, the 2900XT is aimed more at the GTS not the GTX. Just thought I'd throw that out there in case you didn't hear that the 1st 50 times that was pointed out to you.

The only way the Bruins will win the Cup. When they get new ownership. Said ownership DOES NOT want to WIN the Cup!!!!!

I'd say Jacobs is just the re-incarnation of Ballard, doesn't care about wining just bleeds the fans because the knows they love the game too much to completely stay away.

Like I mentioned to you before, that's why I buy no new gear, that way he get no new money from me. Actually last jersey I bought was a Minn Wild.
