8bit vs 6bit but both with 16.7 Million color

Hey guys

people advise me to pick more expensive ISP panel because it has more colors due to its 8bit panel versus 6bit panel of TN panels , but both products state that they both support the same amount of color which is 16.7 Million . so what is the difference in color richness between these two if they both are 16.7 Million ?

by the way i read that VA is in between TN and IPS in terms of quality . but VA Contrast Ratio is lot better than both TN and IPS that translates into better clearer image and i think more vibrant colors , Does VA produce less vibrant colors than IPS ? and does VA's better contrast play role in colors ?

how do IPS and VA compare in Response times , is IPS lot noticeably better ? assume both claim 5ms which you mentioned is fake .

Do PLS Monitors also have that glow of an IPS monitor ? less or more ?

VA > IPS > TN, in that order in terms of picture quality.

Vibrance is not related to the panel tech, but preference/changing settings, or using a glossy coating on the screen.

PLS have the same glow problems IPS do.

Ignore response times completely. 60 Hz TN won't ghost less than a 60 Hz IPS or VA, not how that works.

Stop paying attention to generalizations and look at the specific monitors you are looking at.
