Hello! I changed from 4(2x2) to 8GB (2x4) Rams last x-mas. Tho I noticed before some hours that I got usable ram 4gbs only...Where at? Read below..
-My computer~>Prop~>Installed ram: 8gb(avaiable for usage 4)
-Task Manager~>Performance~>Memory 4GB..
-msinfo32.exe ~> Installed ram 8gb / For usage: 4gb
-Bios~>Ram for usage 4000mb(aprox)
-Memory gadget on desktop: size: 4000mb...
BUT..CPU-Z Memory tab says Memory size : 8192 mb..

So what's going on?
I 'll tell you what I've tried so far but nothing changed..
i) Memory remap on bios in enabled.
ii) msconfig , max memory is unticked [ ]

Any ideas?://
