9.6 x 9.6 inch motherboards

Unless there is something *extremely* odd about your case, your motherboard does not have to be exactly 9.6" x 9.6". Any Micro-ATX motherboard should fit. Hole placements are standardized even if the physical dimensions of the board are not.

i have a pretty old case from 2005. I have the emachines 1831-07

yea i did research and found it was a 9.6 x 9.6 board inside so i was trying to find one with same dimensions

Again, it's not so much the physical dimensions, but the motherboard form-factor. If it's a true Micro-ATX, all the mounting holes will be in the same place (regardless of it's actual dimensions). You do not need to find a motherboard that is exactly 9.6"x9.6" (though much larger probably would not fit). If it's a true Micro-ATX form-factor, then probably > 90% of all Micro-ATX motherboards would physically fit within your case.
