this always happens when u post smthing wrong... so guys, becareful of what u post... one wrong info and u are gonna taste the wrath of THGC forum murderers... (i hope i dun get killed with me posting this.)

Who is from singapore? I am.

To varying degrees people here are somewhat intolerate of ignorance. Basically the thought is-- if you don't know, don't pull ludacris bullshit outta yer ass.

The main thing is, how hard is it to just not hit [continue] if you don't know. Do a google search if you're not sure, even that would filter out more than half the mistakes. Also don't make a grandstand move with a mistake, just leaves you open to criticism.

If you're not sure or maybe think you're guessing, then say I-f I R-emember C-orrectly or something. Or I think...

Also don't contradict other people's info if you don't know what you're talking about, those people are bound to defend their position, and depending on how you state yours that defence may be strong.

In the end it's a free for all, but if people think wrong info will cause people to make errors in judgement/expenses then people should point that out in such a way as to draw attention to it.

Ahh it's all relative I guess.

BTW, did you know that Matrox cards will now do your taxes? Guaranteed on your money back.

same question although i am lookin at a GEXcube 9600XT and they both have TSOP Ram? which will be better as i look to play future DX9 games? thanks in advance to any who respond

Judge me all you want; just keep the verdict to yourself!!!

Neither, TSOP ram sucks, especially for an R9600XT.

Look for anything with BGA ram. BTW, you may have confused the two. Can you post a link?

The Ram size means very little. But TSOP vs BGA is a huge thing.

And given the price difference between a 128mb and a 256mb... you save some serious $$$.

Actually the price difference for me was only about £7. Not sure what the exchange rate is so I'm not sure how many $$$ that is. 256 Mb, yes it is pointless and inferior, so thanks for the info, but the price differential was not so large as everyone seems to make out to me...

I'm probably just being a noob.

I spend my time here hoping that one day I might learn something.
