Hello,
I just built a machine based on this motherboard. Upon booting I get a buzzing sound from the system speaker and then it stops and I get the normal single POST beep. The only way I found to get rid of this is to disable the CPU Temp and Fan warnings (which I like to enable always). The temp averages around 43c and gets up to 53c on Prime95. The machine has been very stable so I don't understand why it would give me a temp/fan failure warning when everything is fine. I usually like my machines to run cooler but this client wanted to keep the price down and to use the OEM Intel Heatsink which is fine. Did anyone run into this issue before? I'm guessing it's a BIOS issue and will eventually be fixed but I'd like to enable it.
Specs:
Cooler Master Centurion Case
Thermaltake 430w PSU 24Pin - Pci-16x
Gigabyte 965P-S3 Rev3.3
Core 2 Duo 2.13Ghz 4MB L2
2GB Geil DDR2-800
EVGA Nvidia 7900GS PCIe-16x
SATA Lite-On DVD Burner
SATA2 Seagate 7200.10 320GB
Windows XP-Home SP2 (all updated)
