980 and 600w psu?

Hey!
i was wondering if my 600w psu is enough for i5 4460 and GTX 980?
plus a few fans, 1 ssd, 1 hdd and a corsair h80i GT

You won't be stressing the psu on a locked Intel cpu. That cx600, while not an ideal psu, will be fine for a 980. Maxed out you are looking at about 500w, and you won't be coming close to that number with any application, ever. You'll be fine for as long as the warranty on the psu lasts. After that, you'll be on borrowed time.
It's not just the load you're putting on it. It's just the quality of the PSU. So stepping down to another GPU won't fix that. Crap PSU's can fail unexpectedly and take a whole system with. Smart money would be to sell that and get a good quality PSU. But if you don't wanna/can't do that then stepping down on the GPU AND getting a new PSU would make better. the 980 (Not TI) trades blows with the 390X. The 980 OC's better but the 390X is 50-100 dollars cheaper. If you get a 390X you could also get another PSU (I'd get one rated for at least 650) and pay abut the same as the 980 and get about the same performance.
