Buying this 9800pro has turned out to be the best thing ive done in a while. Not only is it running @ XT speeds with the XT bios 24/7 but its letting me run @ 2330mhz on my athlon 64 3200 due to being more tolerable to higher AGP speed.

My 9700pro maxed out about 228fsb so now I have a stupidly fast system.

No mate its an MSI VIA K8T 800 mobo (athlon 64). Until NF3-250 there are no working pci+agp locks on athlon 64 mobos...

Yup, despite all claims, that's still the case.

Regardless, nice rig.

Are you going to rerun those UT2K4 demo benchies again and repost your new results? From what I remember your rig with the OC9700pro still had the top score.

Oh that sucks...

Hey speedy you know the VIA K8T800Pro, and Nforce3 250 pro, has 1000HT, but I think that's for the Socket 939 and Socket 940 CPUs only. So we're stuck at 800HT and overclock.

Would love to be more effusive and complimentary, but that would simply lead to ego problems. Increase yours, decrease mine.

Well Done, Cheers!

Cheers guys. I know I don't really NEED to get an NF3 250 mobo with full agp/pci locks but I probably will get one and thats 23,000 in the bag there maybe more. Then theres a next gen card.

My score seems crap already lol.

Those 9800pros (r350 or r360) can do a lot as long as you can keep it cool. I have got past 500mhz on some of these 9800pros of course with water cooling and radiator in my freezer.

LOL@no AGP/PCI lock, that's a 2 year old feature on some chipsets and still not available for the A64. Maybe next week.
