I recently turned my machine off as my frame-rate was so poor on games like CSGO, getting around 100-200 fps which is not acceptable with my hardware:

Now I am getting no signal on my "display ported" monitor, however with a HDMI cable on my other asus monitor it is fine.

Thanks in advance!

Oh right haha, hmm im not really too sure but to suggest the usual rounds, reinstall > custom > clean install Nvidia drivers.

Would suggest updating the motherboard bios but maybe too soon for that but no harm in looking i guess.

If you use displayport this should be relevant.

You need to flash to version 4 firmware. This fixes the displayport loss of signal errors (this also happens on XL2420Z but not XL2430T).

V4 firmware also adds two new undocumented AMA settings that only apply to blur reduction mode (and they are activated by toggling the AMA after MBR has been enabled first).. But the settings are reset after any change in brightness or strobe settings or resolution switches.

The instructions on this page of the blur busters thread should get you sorted out. It's not hard to do, even if you never touched a Linux shell before. Each step is clear and will get you flashed to version 4. The hardest part will be identifying what i2c bus the monitor is connected to.

But my monitor was working perfectly before, and what you linked me looks awfully confusing :S

the solution I linked is for your monitor if you use Displayport. Apparently there is a bug on that monitor that occurs when you shut off the PC and then turn it back on it will not detect the signal.

I found a BenQ support guy confirming this is an issue with Nividia firmware and that they do have a fix (which I linked and is lengthy) but you need to send it in.
