This is my 3dmark score and its extremely low for the stuff i have, no overclocking has been done to any of these and i dont know if it could be my motherboard? I have an 850w platinum psu from EVGA and i really dont know where the issue is coming from

Your score is indeed low for the cpu/gpu combination, here is the list of the same system scores http://www.3dmark.com/search?_ga=1.255255368.1584971221.1454874135#/?mode=advanced&url=/proxycon/ajax/search/cpugpu/fs/P/1826/1033/500000?minScore=0&cpuName=Intel Core i5-4690K&gpuName=NVIDIA GeForce GTX 980 Ti
Your motherboard is a low end one and for a K cpu you should have z97 in my opinion. Try running the benchmark again and before that check if there is any other application running in the background that is utilizing the cpu, causing the system to slow down. In the link enter the cpu and gpu model and gpu count to 1 and you will see the expected results for this system.
